Michael Jackson OOP Poster Micheal Error + Rare L.a. Gear Magazine Ad Bonus

From deep in the storage archives, here’s an out of print poster of Michael Jackson from his 80s heyday. Poster was likely made in Thailand (yep, he’s big there), and because they don’t use the English alphabet for their own language, they’re prone to errors (in this case, misspelling his name as “Micheal”). Printed fine otherwise. This is Michael in his 80s heyday.

SPECIAL BONUS: This poster comes with a super-rare special FREE BONUS: An ORIGINAL magazine ad he did for L.A. Gear for the Thai market, as taken from a movie magazine put out there about 10 years ago. This is old stock that has been sitting around for all that time. The ad is a full magazine page measuring 8.5 x 11.5 inches (see second photo, with the “Unstoppable” header). There’s a line of script in Thai below the L.A. Gear logo and above the printed “signature” of Michael’s, as well as another line of Thai script across the bottom. (on the back of the page is an unrelated picture of Edward Scissorhands). (more…)
