Taking care of a few business items, Paula Abdul was spotted arriving at her office in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon (January 13).

The “Opposites Attract” songstress was joined by a much younger male companion as she strolled past the paparazzi and headed inside.

Making a change in career paths, Simon Cowell has announced he’s quitting his “American Idol” duties when the new season ends in May of 2010.

The move comes amidst growing speculation that the music mogul’s future on the show was uncertain, as his brother Tony revealed a statement would be made in the early part of 2010.

She had quite an evening at the 2010 People’s Choice Awards last night (January 6), taking home the trophy for Favorite Talk Show.  And Ellen DeGeneres couldn’t have looked happier as she left the Nokia Theater last night.

Ms. DeGeneres had a little fun with the paparazzi on her way to her car and acted like she was going to drop her precious award.

Kicking off a fun-filled weekend in southern Florida, Kris Allen appeared at Land Shark Stadium prior to his performance at the Miami Dolphins tailgate party on Friday (October 23).

The “American Idol” winner happily posed alongside cheerleaders as he preps to take the Dolphins’ tailgate stage on Sunday (October 25) just before the Dolphins/Saints game at 4:15PM.

He may not have won Season 8 of “American Idol,” but it sure seems that Adam Lambert has taken the lead when it comes to record sales.

According to a report, the “Idol” runner-up has climbed to the #2 spot on Amazon.com’s sales list this week with presale figures for his new album.

Ellen DeGeneres is getting ready to be a “great judge” on American Idol and is letting producers know that they made the right choice including her.

“Apparently, there’s a lot of debate going on right now, whether I’m qualified or not to be the new judge on American Idol,” Ellen says on Tuesday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Looking very much the happy couple, Adam Lambert and boyfriend Drake LaBry were spotted leaving the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Friday night (September 18).

The 27-year-old “American Idol” runner-up and his interior designer boyfriend smiled it up for paparazzi after checking out the latest stop on Pink’s “Funhouse” tour.

As “American Idol” continues prepping for their new season, ex-judge Paula Abdul has voiced her support for her replacement Ellen DeGeneres.

The “Straight Up” songstress took to her Twitter page, saying, “I think Ellen will b a gr8 judge on Idol.  She is wildly funny, talented, and I wish her the best of luck!”

Although she loves to dance, Ellen DeGeneres is using her love of music as an “American Idol” judge.

“I love music-period,” she explained to Ryan Seacrest in an interview earlier today. “And I’m a huge fan of the show. I haven’t missed one show since the beginning..I’m just a fan like everybody else.”
